The Nursery
Session times
The nursery is open Monday - Friday from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm for 52 weeks of the year, excluding Bank Holidays and recognised Public Holidays. Early start sessions can be booked for an additional fee, and start from 7.30 am.

At Lexden Lodge, we aim to be flexible, and so offer a range of session start and finish times to suit modern family commitments, allowing parents to choose those most appropriate to their lifestyle. Please note that children must attend a minimum of two sessions per week. For our full list of session times, please click on the button below.
Our days in the nursery are structured around routine and include both indoor and outdoor play times, we also cater for children's individual needs in terms of rest and quiet time. We also offer 5% discount to military families.
Settling in
From first contact, we provide many opportunities for you to visit us with your child. Our priority is for your child to feel happy and safe with us, so, when they start to attend we will work with you to decide the best way to settle them into their new environment.
To help with settling in, we will allocate a key person to welcome and focus on your child from their first to their last day in each room. We strive to build positive relationships between parents and your child's key person to ensure that their time at our nursery reflects individual needs and family preferences. We are open year-round an during all school half term and during the summer holidays.
